The BrightPath Academy is a first-of-its-kind Emotional Intelligence and Financial Wellness Academy built on the principles of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL).

Our programs teach people how to lead calmly, think clearly, communicate effectively, and manage their money with purpose and confidence.

The BrightPath Foundation is the outreach engine that brings that education to the public.
We form public-private partnerships with cities, corporations, nonprofits, and community organizations to fund, distribute, and deliver the Academy’s programs where they are needed most.

I’m Aaron B. Kershaw

When combat PTSD hit me at 45 - more than thirty years after serving two tours overseas, including one in Iraq - I lost my career and nearly lost my sense of self.

The VA helped with treatment, but not with rebuilding life - especially financially. So I went back to school, studied finance, business, and human behavior, and learned something that changed everything: emotional intelligence and financial literacy are two halves of the same skill set.

That discovery became BuildingBlocs Literacy and later The BrightPath Academy - a platform that teaches real-world skills in finance, emotional resilience, and leadership.

But I wanted to reach veterans and families directly - without red tape or waiting lists.
That’s why I created The BrightPath Foundation.

Through The BrightPath Foundation, we remove the red tape so veterans and families can get help immediately - access first, funding later.

    Financial literacy programs for adults and families, featuring Budget Like a Boss and Money Adventure.
    Used in churches, nonprofits, and veterans organizations nationwide.

     

  • Veterans $5,000,000 Program

    Empowering veterans and their families through structured emotional intelligence and leadership training.

  • BrightPath Access Coalition

    National partnership network connecting municipalities, nonprofits, and sponsors to scale educational access.
    Every $25 sponsorship funds a seat and the Foundation matches it, doubling community impact.
