Our mission is simple: deliver powerful, social-emotional learning programs in ways that are accessible, engaging, and transformative.
We exist to make it easier for individuals, families, educators, and organizations to access the full range of BuildingBlocs Literacy programs. Through books, courses, videos, and facilitator training, BrightPath Academy connects people to the skills and tools they need to grow, succeed, and lead.

Why We Built This
THE BRIGHTPath Academy is a project born from lived experience. After years of working in business, leadership, media, and mentoring, Aaron Kershaw saw a major gap in how people were taught to lead, budget, parent, and communicate.
So he did what any Marine-turned-mentor would do—he built a solution.

Why I Do It
As a U.S. Marine, mentor, father, and lifelong learner, I’ve seen firsthand how practical education transforms lives—when it’s grounded in reality, not theory.
I founded BuildingBlocs Literacy and launched THE BRIGHTPath Academy to make real-world learning accessible to anyone—especially those navigating change, rebuilding, or chasing that next chapter.
After earning my degree in Business Management from Manhattanville University in 2024—with a focus on Economics, Finance, and HR—I made it my mission to pass on the knowledge, tools, and perspective I wish I had earlier.
Through our nonprofit efforts, we provide free books and educational resources to veterans, schools, and underserved communities—because everyone deserves a shot at growth.
This is more than learning. It’s legacy work. It’s personal. And it’s built to serve.
